The Drink - Shirts without buttons & pants without zippers

The Drink is about - well everything. It is a lifestyle, a way of living, a fun & exciting place that we go to get away. We want to know about you and what you do, how you do it, and the fun you have doing it.

When I was 20 years old I had two goals:

Not to work past my 30th birthday
To go south of the border, cut the buttons off my clothes, be known as 'El Gringo No Button-O', and able to do what I want to do, when I want to do it.

Well I didn't make the first one and I am still working on the second. I have been working like a dog lately (or so it would seem at least to me) and need something fun to work on -- so was born 'thedrink.com'. The drink is meant to be a metaphor for 'the way of life'. It is not necessarily about drinking or booze, though I could use a nice stiff Ketel One and Cranberry or twelve right now.

We are going to post all (or at least most) of the stories and information we receive. We figure the best way to get these posts is to pay you for them.
